Look at all the new yarns of Pluckfluff!

Please visit this site Pluckyfluff.  I hope Lolo or Amina can ask Joelle to view this page.  Just gorgeous, gorgeous.

Pluckyfluff, or Lexi, wrote the book Handspun Revolution and is very good friend of Laurence.

Re: Look at all the new yarns of Pluckfluff!

Yes, Nansou.  You take a bit of fibre and pass it through the doll with a sharp needle.  You continue spinning and add the little bit of fibre with the doll.   Keep spinning and the doll will be attached.  It's the same principle with the felted bits.  I hope you try it.

If you want to attach felted little balls, you can use a very fine crochet hook to pull the fiber you are spinning and you make one single chain to lock the felted little ball in place.  Continue spinning.

Lolo, I think I sent Agathe a little skein of yarn using this method.

Re: Look at all the new yarns of Pluckfluff!

Elizabeth is another serious art yarn spinner who is interested in the next spinning retreat.  She is from Alaska, but last year, she flew to Maryland for the Sheep and Wool.  Like me, she also sold yarns at the crafts market in Brooklyn, New York, called Renegade Craft Fair.

In her latest blog, she writes that Pluckyfluff's latest book is ready for pre-ordering at amazon.com.

Laurence is in the book.
