I try... Ho yes, I write english mmmm
It's a good idea this english topic... But my english is very bad

Hi everyone ! Finally, it won't be a bad thing to write and read a little English from time to time...I'm curious to see if some new "englo" partners will decide to join us ...
By the way, so many interesting sites and books are in English exclusively, maybe it'll help some of us to understand better in the future...
I notice that...it's really easier to read and understand than to write, choosing the right words !
The dictionnary won't be too far away...

Therese I took a little bit of the camel baby at the spinners retreat.
It's so soft, I hope I will be able to do something very thin.
Do you think it is possible to speak sky here ?
Hors ligne
To speak sky ? I don't understand , you say sky for weather or for another thing ?
I know the words and the simple sentences not the literal expressions

It was a reference to a book : Sky, my husband ! Ciel, mon mari !

Hi, Mic. The baby camel is from The Artful Ewe. It was given by Heidi especially for the spinners like you who attended the retreat in Cevennes.
Are you thinking of Rick Springfield's song "Speak to the Sky"?
One day I'm going to be an apprentice in your farm -- if you will allow it, of course.

One of my favorite bloggers/suppliers is Adrian of Hello Yarn. I'm writing about Adrian here because she is holding a workshop in September and there is a site where you can see what they do during the workshop.
The four-day workshop (from Thursday to Sunday) is held in Kansas. It may be in the middle of nowhere, but there are farms around which the students get to visit. Read about it here and see all the beautiful colors!
Maybe, Mic, it will inspire you in planning the next retreat.

When I was learning French (I'm still learning French) I wanted to know street French, not textbook French.
I'm grateful to Sandrine for this forum, it has taught me a lot. I still make mistakes, especiallyh with concordance de temps, but it's been fabulous help for me. I hope this English forum will do the same for you.
I will try to bring you interesting websites as we go along.

I just heard from Reenie whose husband is known as Battman.. She is traveling and on her way to the TNNA show where all the manufactuers and suppliers showcase their wares.
Joelle has had an exchange of fibers with Battman and Midian and Agnes has gotten Angelina from Reenie. When Reenie is back from TNNA, she will join us, I'm sure.
