Any day now you will be receiving the Summer issue of Spin-Off magazine. Those who went to the spinning retreat at Joelle's place got samples of exotiques fibers (yak, baby camel, spinning bamboo, etc.) sent by Heidi of The Artful Ewe. I'm pleased to let you know that Heidi's works are featured in the Gallery page of the magazine so do check it now!

By the way, I've invited Heidi to the next retreat at Mic's place and it seems that she is seriously considering going next year. She is my supplier for tencel and Ashland Bay Glitz.

the fibers we got in your parcel are really beautifull, I've spun a piece of unknown top, it is very very soft, it was the one that was not in a (plastic) bag....

For myself, I got from Heidi an autographed copy of this book. You can see the insides pages on the book.

Midian, it's not a duplicate of any book that was published before. A lot of original ideas. I think, you'll like it.

With Amazon I've to pay 8,98 $ for shipping. When I buy fibers from Heidi, I'll take the book too smile

If you buy through Market place amazon ( click on "used" ) , postage is only 3 euros ( in France ) I get quite good deals most of the time . Of course you have to wait a little after the book is published , because they do not discount books immediately . I generally buy from Book Depositary UK . They are more reliable . Caiman is quite long but good too . And shipping is really much cheaper . Hope this helps !

I'm live in Swizterland, from marketplace Amazon France , I pay 5,99€ for shipping with book (14,25€) = 20,24€ = 33,70 frs

From Amazon USA 8,98$ shipping + 14,95 book = 23,93$ = 29,63 frs

From Amazon market place USA 12,49$ shipping + 11,81 book = 24,30$ = 30,10 frs

I always make comparisons of prices and I buy the less expensive
