Hello everyone,
I presented myself in French but I realize that may be I should also do it en English for those who'd rather read this language.
I live in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada - and seem to be the only member of this forum so far out ... in the wild west!
I have been spinning and weaving for more that 15 years and still LOVE it. In the past 10 years, my time was very limited and I was only spinning occasionally... to unwind!!! The good news is that I just retired so now I have more time to get back into the swing.
I belong to a local guild called PAWS (Peach Arch Weavers and Spinners). It is a fabulous group of mostly women. The group is very active, we have a "drop in Monday" every week and a general meeting once a month with programs. Sometimes we have workshops organized. Once a year we even have a competition with other guild around Vancouver called "Sheep to Shawl" - lots of fun.
Over the years, I have accomplished a fair amount of projects... some of which I have put into a website just the other day. If you are interested, you can have a look - and even leave a message if you wish. http://jacotte33.multiply.com/
Looking forward to reading you
All the best, and have a great day
Jacotte
